Erwin James: A convicted murderer on the woman who turned his life around | Daily Mail Online

I spoke to Erwin James at lunchtime today and he is one of the nicest men I’ve had the pleasure to talk to. It was good to hear of the support he received while inside and how Joan Branton, a psychologist, made a huge positive impact on Erwin’s life. Erwin writes for the Guardian and he said to me that he didn’t really choose this path but that it just happened. I said that it was meant to be; his destiny as such. As someone who once worked in a prison Erwin’s story had moved me deeply and inspired me to keep on keeping on in my therapeutic work, even if one gets burned.

I'm a woman living in London and this blog captures what lands within my sight and connects with my psyche. I expect it to evolve naturally. It is a place I shall visit from time to time and where things that I am touched by deeply will find a soft place to land. As a psychotherapist and a continuing student, most of the articles you shall find here will somehow, in some way, be related to therapy and well-being. I love comments, so feel free to add yours, whenever and however. I wish you well.
